Huge Hello 🙂 It’s my time for Hostess Monday with Digital Delights & I was racking my brain to see what I could create for you. I’m still in learning stage of colouring & a little rusty but what I do love is templates & boxes so I decided I would try a fun card using a simple box shape & Paper, Sentiment & stamps downloaded from Digital Delights.
Downloads available from … http://digitaldelightsbyloubyloo.com
Diver Scottie , Happy Fish , Zig Zag Paper & Summer is here sentiment
I also used… Spectrum Noir pens & Pencils to colour the images
6×6 Colour core Cardstock
Acetate
Collall all purpose glue, 3d gel & Red Liner Tape
Glitter
Shells
How I made the card…..
Download your stamps & colour in, when cutting out I left a thin white border around all the stamps. I added the sentiment to word & changed the colour to blue, re sized it, Printed, cut it out & added to some colour core card & cut out with funky scissors.
How to make the Tank Box…
Base…
Take a piece of 6×6 Card Stock
Score at 2cm on each side
cut a small triangle out of each square flap
Glue & secure with a peg
Repeat this again for the Top
The Tank Sides…
I used 2 sheets of A4 acetate & cut them in half to make A5 size
Sides with folds…..Using A5 size sheets Cut 2 sheets to 15cm & score 1st sheet length ways at 2cm then also at 13cm do this for 2 sheets. Fold back the sides of your acetate you scored
Front & back Flat pieces… Cut the remaining 2 A5 sheets at 10 3/4cm width ways
Making up……
Cut a piece of coloured paper & stick to one of the folded pieces of acetate, I used the Zig Zag paper download from Digital delights as I loved the shades of blue & thought it would look great as a sea wave effect.
On inside of your box base ass some tape & stick your newly decorated acetate to it.
Now using some scrap acetate bend it as shown in picture below & secure using tape to the back of your main Coloured stamp & then secure it to the decorated paper acetate, this will make it look like its floating inside the box, also do the same to the fish.
Decorate your box with seashells & secure with 3d Gel
Now inside your base box at the front secure the 2nd piece of folded acetate
Use red liner tape along both sides of your 2 remaining flat pieces of acetate & place on on each side of the tank inside the box.
Add your sentiment & lid & your finished 🙂
You can add a verse to the base or the back of your box
